Object of the company
Österreich Institut GmbH offers German courses abroad on behalf of the Republic of Austria – represented by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (Cultural Section) – and supports the teaching of German as a foreign language worldwide. It cooperates with interested domestic and foreign institutions in the field of German as a foreign language in the area of language promotion.
All institutes are also service and information centres for enquiries about Austria or the teaching of German as a foreign language. The institutes thus contribute to a positive overall image of Austria in the host countries and to international networking in the field of language teaching.
